Wrestling Halfbeak
The start of my livebearer obsession, I picked up these lovely guys from a local fish shop. I currently have 5 of them, that I am trying to fatten up to breed. But, that's easier said than done. These guys are quite the challenge to breed for a livebearer, and when they do it's extremely common for fry to be stillborn, for reasons unknown.
Hopefully in the near future I will have some babies to show for.
This photo is of two fish sparring. Quite common, though they don't harm each other.

Montezuma Swordtail (Rio Tamasopo)
These wild swordtails are prized for having the longest tails of their family. Truly a beautiful fish, I picked up a pair and 5 juveniles at an auction, for quite a high price. I am hoping that they will breed well for me in the future.
Highland Platy
These adorable wild type platies I also got in an auction, though fairly cheap. I can't find much info for care online, though they seem to be doing quite well. Quite small and inquisitive, but terribly shy, I've become a quick fan of these little known fish.
